This information focuses on our HCSW – Nursing Apprentice (Nursing Apprenticeship Pathway)
CUH has put into place a direct entry Nursing Apprenticeship Pathway. The scheme is for those who want to gain valuable Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) experience whilst studying part-time to achieve a degree, professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and guaranteed employment as a Registered Nurse.
As a successful candidate, you will be offered:
- Permanent employment as a HCSW-Nursing Apprentice
- Place on the University BSc Nursing degree programme
- An apprenticeship salary until BSc achieved
- University course fees paid by CUH
- Paid leave for academic study and practice placement
