E-Induction – Mandatory Core 10

Core mandatory e-learning requirements

To keep you, your colleagues and our patient’s safe at work we have a number of core mandatory training modules that all staff need to complete.

You will receive information about completing the Core 10 Mandatory e-learning modules in your final offer letter. In the two weeks before you start you will also receive an email from the DOT Support Team providing you with a username, password and a link to our learning management system called DOT (opens in a new tab) (please check your e-mail accounts “junk” or “spam” folder as the message can be diverted there).

You are asked to complete this elearning in your first week of joining CUH and time will be allocated for you to do this.

Here you are asked to complete the top ten e-learning modules listed under the ‘Core Mandatory Training’ category on the DOT home screen. We ask that, if possible, you complete these modules before you start your new role. If you do your manager will discuss giving you time back in lieu during your first few days in the Trust.

The 10 core modules you will need to complete are:

  • Conflict Resolution
  • Fire Safety Awareness
  • Information Governance
  • Infection Control
  • Health and Safety
  • Moving and Handling Inanimate Loads
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Safeguarding Children Level 1
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults/Adults at Risk Level 1
  • Security and Fraud

We want all courses to be fully accessible. If you have any special requirements related to sight, hearing, mobility access or special diets, require British Sign Language interpreter, hearing loop, large print handouts etc, please email DOT learning as soon as possible so these can be arranged in good time.
