Allied Health Professionals
Join the third largest workforce in the NHS! Working in the front line of healthcare, our Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) provide treatment and help to our patients enabling them to lead life as fully as possible.
As a part of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC) we are home to one of the largest internationally competitive concentrations of healthcare-related talent and enterprise in Europe. Our Healthcare Science staff play a vital role in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a huge number of medical conditions. They also help people live independent lives through rehabilitation.
Our Pharmacy team consists of approximately 250 staff, working across the Trust in a number of different roles, including: Pharmacists, Technicians, Assistants, Informatics and Administrative Staff.
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes which can provide routes into a variety of careers at CUH, including digital marketing, leadership and management, pharmacy and nursing to name just a few. Apprenticeships are an excellent opportunity to earn, gain work experience and achieve nationally recognised qualifications at the same time.

Since April 2017 we have welcomed over 500 nurses from Europe and Overseas to CUH.
